FRENCH QUARTER & CEMETERY EARLY BIRD COMBO DISCOUNT TOUR
2 HOURS / STARTING AT $35
👍👍👍👍👍 TripAdvisor Review“We had an amazing tour of the French Quarter before heading to the cemetery. Our guide Danielle, was great she has so much knowledge and you could hear the passion for the City in her words. The tour starts at 8 am and being August this was a blessing as we were finishing we saw others just starting and it was hot!! This early start also gave us time to get out on another tour in the afternoon. Danielle showed us lots of different architecture, some great stores to head back to, the beautiful cathedral and of course some fantastic tombs. The story telling was great. As was the history and vocabulary lesson!! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this tour if you are in New Orleans.”

My name is Karen Dowty and I am a native New Orleanian. I am passionate about my city and cannot imagine myself living anywhere else. I love to travel but am always grateful to return home. New Orleans is a city like no other. It is not your typical southern city – although we are friendly and hospitable. Our accent is different (more Brooklyn than southern drawl), our location is unique (surrounded by the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain and more canals than Venice), our food, music, and culture is celebrated by dozens of festivals and revelry in the streets! We are truly a cultural gumbo flavored with many saints and sinners alike.
After 33 years of teaching, I became a licensed City of New Orleans Tour Guide and a Friends of the Cabildo Certified Tour Guide. I love being able to share the rich history, architecture, cuisine, and uniqueness of our city to our many visitors.
