Neyow’s – Local “Guide” Food Review

Our latest Local “Guide” Food Review is Neyow’s. Neyow’s is a Mid-City neighborhood restaurant located on Bienville Street. It bills itself as a Creole cafe and lives up to that bill. Cozy and open at the same time, the interior is bathed in light from the building size front windows. Neyow’s offers an assortment of dishes that will have you coming back for more.

Neyow’s Bayou Pasta

Now to the important stuff, the FOOD!

The menu offers a wide selection including the superbly lush and creamy Bayou Pasta which consists of crawfish and shrimp. Another delectable dish is the crunchy fried chicken that is tender and moist on the inside. I also suggest the mild BBQ large size shrimp. Don’t miss the dark brown roux gumbo (reminds me of my mama’s) and a must have grilled oyster made within view of your dining table.

Fantastic Staff

The staff is attentive and helpful and seen only when needed (they will be there). Outside dining is also available when the weather is pleasant. Although there can be a line for lunch, and it can be a little noisy, I highly recommend giving Neyow’s a try. 🍤🍤🍤🍤

Neyow’s opens at 11am every day. They also cater and hold private events at the restaurant serving family style meals. I would recommend a reservation for groups of 8 or more people.
