Deanie’s Seafood Review
Our local “guide” food review series continues with Deanie’s Seafood. Deanie’s is a New Orleans seafood institution. Voted “Best Seafood Restaurant (Times Picayune) and “Best Place for Crawfish (Tops of the Town). Deanie’s has served fresh Louisiana seafood for over 50 years. The original Bucktown location is my go to place for seafood both dine in and carry out especially on Saints’ game days. Fried, broiled and boiled; crawfish, crab, oysters and fish and only 15 minutes from phone call to pick up.

Hearty Portions at Deanie’s
Pay attention! The picture above is a “Half Seafood Platter” and an order of Onion Rings. You won’t be hungry after eating at Deanie’s! Hearty portions of Fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, soft shell crab, crab ball and french fries. Once it gets in your mind there’s no getting it out! Who Dat! A win for the Saints and Deanie’s Seafood – an unbeatable combination!
Location, Location, Location
No matter where you’re at in New Orleans, Deanie’s is close by. There are locations in Bucktown (Lakefront), the French Quarter, and their newest location, Uptown in the Garden District. A casual, fun atmosphere – eat in or carry out. No reservations necessary. Highly recommended! 🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤
