Mardi Gras! It’s Carnival Time
It’s Carnival Season! Looking for some fun for the whole family? Then New Orleans is the best place to be this time of year. There are multiple parades every weekend starting February 9 and weekdays starting February 27 going straight through Fat Tuesday which falls on March 5 this year. Though the majority of the coverage you may see on television of Mardi Gras is taken on Bourbon Street and would be considered an environment better suited for adults, most of the parades are in the surrounding areas and have always been kid friendly outings. The French Quarter is much more than Bourbon Street!
